Ringwood Hall wedding film
Couple’s feedback
Elena and Yury were were perfect, they captured our special day in exactly the way we hoped.
Our family is large and chaotic so we knew we needed photographers and videographers who could capture us all naturally. We love our photographs and everyone at the wedding commented on how nice and friendly they both were.
Thank you so much for everything.
Love from patrick, Jessica, Sophi, William+Betty The Barkers

Wedding expereience at Ringwood Hall
Ringwood Hall grounds have got a lot to offer for photography and filming; the gardens and shades of the trees look very different and so do the pictures and films. During the wedding day Jessica and Patrick had time to be at most of these places and we managed to capture some great moments.
In this post, Jessica and Patrick kindly gave us a short interview about their love story and the wedding itself.
How did you two meet? We met at work, Jessie used to make excuses to work with Patrick
How did he pop the question? Whilst he had planned a romantic birthday trip to Paris, lockdown had other ideas. He proposed on one knee in our kitchen, in our pyjamas. It was perfect. In the home we had built together.
What was your favorite moment(s) from the wedding? The Undercover Waiters were incredible,
all of the guests were so surprised and they really got the energy going. An absolute recommendation to anyone considering entertainment on their wedding day they were such a good laugh.
How long have you been together? 6 and a half years
How would you describe your overall wedding experience? It was so hot! Middle of August and 30 degrees. But such a wonderful day surrounded by everyone we love, we couldn’t have asked for more.
What advice would you offer to other couples planning a wedding? Plan it for you, not for your guests. Do what you want and stop thinking about what other people might like. Its your day!
Tell me about your dress. Where did you find it, how did you choose it, how did you know it was the one? It was the complete opposite of what I thought I would go for. Classic in satin with beautiful button detail down the back but a big skirt so I felt like a real princess. The selling point was my cape. I absolutely loved it, and all the guests complimented it. Just a little extra detail that elevated the look and something a bit different. I went to Wed2Be on a whim one day with my mum and my step-daughter to have a look around, not really intending on buying a dress that day, but I tried the dress on and really liked it. Then when the assistants gave me the cape to try with it I knew I had found my dress. The dress is called Elton.
How was your experience taking photos/working with us on your wedding day? You were both amazing, really relaxed and laid back which was what we wanted. Our family life is so hectic, with 3 kids aged 2, 11 and 18 its almost impossible to get a nice posed photograph with everyone smiling and Elena and Yury just accepted that and allowed us to be ourselves. Meaning we have some gorgeous photos that truly reflect us as a family rather than just forced smiles and straight bow ties.
We love to hear about vendors you love! We booked Sweet-A-Fayre from Chesterfield for our evening guests, they provided bubble waffles with a number of fillings and all our guests absolutely raved about them! They are on facebook too. I would also absolutely recommend the Undercover Waiters and our florist Tina from Greenblooms Floral Design. Tina was professional and fun and created such incredible flowers which were not just the norm. Also on Facebook.
What’s one piece of advice you would give to other couples for planning their wedding? Remember it’s a celebration, enjoy yourselves.
What was the first song you danced to as husband and wife? Lady Gaga – Is that alright
It’s been pleasure to work with Jessica and Patrick.
Enjoy the photographs and the wedding film!
