Following their engagement photo shoot, I’m glad to share with you their wedding photographs, taken at a very nice and cosy venue Packington More by your Packington Moor wedding photographer 🙂 I thought that instead of me describing the wedding day, Stacey Nd Jon will tell better about them and their wedding, so here is a short interview with Stacey.
How did you two meet?
How did he pop the question?
He took me to Stockholm and proposed in the old town on Cobbled street
What was your favorite moment(s) from the wedding?
Walking the aisle
How would you describe your overall wedding experience?
Tell me about your dress. Where did you find it, how did you choose it, how did you know it was the one?
I found it in a shop in Littleover, I wasnt sure on the hanger but tried it on and it looked lovely. I loved the laces and buttons on the back. My Sister bought it for me as a gift.
How was your experience taking photos/working with us on your wedding day?
Very good, very professional and it helped that you photographed our baby when he was born so you knew the family.
What’s one piece of advice you would give to other couples for planning their wedding?
Dont get stressed, start planning early and dont worry about the small things. Save money where you can, my Sister made the cake and my mum did the centre pieces.
Have you had an engagement session? If so, please, describe your experience? Would you recommend to have an engagement photo shoot to other couples?
Yes I would recommend it, it shows Elena what style you like ans how you photograph together.

Rita and Jon’s engagement photo shoot took place at a beautiful Warwickshire place – Coombe Abbey Park.
Although we are based in Derby, we love photographing engagements at different locations. For an engagement photo shoot we always advise our couples to choose location which means something for them, or may be just beautiful park.
I love photograph girls in Indian outfits. I was so happy when Rita suggested to wear her Indian wedding ceremony outfit during her Coombe Abbey engagement photo shoot! Perfect make up, lovely hairstyle, beautiful dress and great weather! You don’t need anything else to take stunning shots.
Of course, when you wear an Indian style dress or a special occasion dress, it brings more attention form people around. It gets quite difficult to be unnoticed by others and you have to be ready that some people would ask what the reason for the shoot 🙂 Especially it can be difficult for shy persons. But Coombe Abbey has got huge area, many little paths, so we used not so popular parts of the park for the shoot. To check where we need to go I arrived half an hour before we started.
Thank you to Rita and Jon – we had a nice walk around beautiful ground which we finished by taking some pictures in front of the Coombe Abbey hotel as you can see on photographs below.
Do you have an idea about your engagement shoot or even proposal? Then call me 07733158177! I’d love to discuss this with you.

This Elvaston Castle engagement story was different from most of other Derbyshire engagement photo shoots. For our couples an engagement shoot is normally the first photo experience with us. Unlike others, I first photographed Stacey and Jon with their gorgeous little boy when doing his newborn photo shoot. Only then they realised that I aw a wedding photographer too and asked me to do a photography coverage of the next important event – their wedding day.
The wedding was planned for March so we decided to have these engagement pictures done in February. I would like to thank Stacey for the style of the outfits she chose for both of them. And her make up and hair were perfect as usual. It wasn’t very cold so we quite enjoyed spending our time at the Elvaston Castle Park. It was also good for their little one to have some fresh air and sleep in a pram 🙂
I think we took some great pictures. It speaks for itself that Stacey and Jon decided to frame one of the photos in a signature frame for guests to sign on the wedding day. Personally, I was very happy with their choice as this photo was my favourite picture too 🙂 Right from the newborn photo session I knew that the guys and I feel the same about photography style.
Stacey and Jon’s wedding day was amazing. But I’ll show you these photographs next time…

Everybody’s idea of the perfect wedding is inspired by the trendiest looks of the current era. Make-up for wedding photo shoots needs to be different from the ceremonial look. Ascending makeup trend for 2016 were showcased by famous designers like Carolina Herrara, Ines di Santo, Stefanie Francois and Badgley Mischka at the Bridal Fashion Week. All these custom trends ensure that your makeup will necessarily be suitable for lights, camera and action that are the significant elements of wedding photography. These trends are worth not only saying ‘I do’ to but great for glamorising your wedding photographs as well.
1) Natural and Nude Play:
Flaunt the inner beauty within you with a natural makeover, which has once again overpowered the Spring/Summer trends of 2016. With a light application of a tinted moisturizing, a slight dusting of the nude bronzer/highlighter or a blush, a gentle swipe of mascara and a flushed pout, you are all set to face the camera, which will capture your timeless beauty a showcase a memorable experience.
2)The Glossy Look Takes Over The Rest:
Glossy premiere-styled look is up on the move for the year 2016. At London bridal fashion week, the Angel Sanchez’s ready-to-wear catwalk displayed an array of shimmery textured eye looks with stretched winged eyeliner and a hint of the glossy illuminator. The look stood out from the rest and proved to be a star-lit fascination for many soon to be brides.
Hello from your local Derby engagement photographer
This engagement photo shoot happened on a lovely spring time in May. I love spring; I think it’s the most beautiful time of the year! And I love May, because it’s time for my birthday :)))) As Derbyshire wedding photographers, we quite often take pictures and organise photo shoots in our area. This time we went to beautiful Markeaton Park to take some lovely engagement photographs of Jakki and Mark.
I always discuss outfits with my couples. One of my advices to wear something showing your personality and make you feel comfortable. I really like a vintage feeling of this engagement photographs. I knew that it has to be old style post processing for photos once I saw Jakki and Mark in the park.
As most of the couples we have photographed, Jakki and Mark were a bit nervous in the beginning, especially Mark. But then we went for a walk together, had a chat about their wedding preparations and which made them relaxed and the rest of the shoot went very well. As the guys told us later, this engagement photo experience helped them a lot on the wedding day. The pictures from Jakki and Mark’s wedding, held on another beutiful summer day I will share with you later, in a couple of weeks. Keep an eye on my blog posts 🙂

I’m very excited to share these destination wedding photographs from Italy!
For those who didn’t know, yes, we are destination wedding photographers Italy, France, Spain, in Europe in general and even further afield 🙂 I love photograph destination weddings! I think the atmosphere is more relaxed and more romantic on the sea side. The weather is always nice and warm.
Here are destination wedding pictures of Sian and Rob. Their ceremony was organised in a beautiful town called Polignano-a-Mare. The ceremony was held in Puglia church in the heart of the old town. The church had balcony and I did take some pictures from there, I was happy because the view from the balcony was just fabulous!
The reception for Sian and Rob’s wedding was in Grotta Palazzese restaurant, a unique restaurant locate in the cave! If you travel to Italy and plan to visit this area around Bari, you have to stay at least one night in Polignano-a-Mare with a lovely beach area and certainly visit Grotta Palazzese! You can see from our photographs below and how beautiful this place is. And food was absolutely delicious!
As I said the wedding day was very relaxed. We started photograph Groom preparations first. The hotel room was tiny so we decided to go outside. And it was right decision, we had lots of fun with guys. Then we walked to the Bride’s hotel where rooms were much bigger and of course with amazing sea view. As the church was just 10 minutes walk from the hotel Sian decided to walk there with her bridal party (yes, WALK). And it was good decision – we had fun on the way. All cars were stopping to see such a stunning bride! After the ceremony we took some beautiful photographs on the way to the restaurant and then spent the rest of the evening in Grotta Palazzese, capturing all this laugh, smiles, hugs, kids, running around, lovely music and food.
Thanks a lot guys for this amazing memories which came to my mind when I was looking through your wedding photographs this cold winter day. Love my job!
Are you thinking to organise your wedding in Italy or somewhere else? Call me! I’d love to help you and of course to photograph too!

In this post I’d like to share some photos from an Eastwood Hall proposal photo shoot of Jindi and Sonam.
This is actually an interesting story. This was a real proposal, and a surprise for Sonam. Back in summer, Jindi asked me if I could photograph his proposal, but that was a secret for his fiancee to be, Sonam.
We met at the hotel and had a gentle walk around the grounds of the hotel, which comprises a fairly large green area, with large trees, a pond a hill with a countryside view. For this part of the shoot I asked them to get dressed smart casual.
For the second part of the shoot, the guys dressed more formally. We did not have to go far – Jindi made a proposal under a beautiful arch of Eastwood hall hotel. This was quite an emotional moment – Sonam said YES!
Then we did few shots of the guys outside and inside of the hotel, already photographing fiance and fiancee 🙂

7 Tips to Organise Your Las Vegas Destination Wedding
Destination weddings have become a popular trend in the industry, but if they’re not organised properly, they could have disastrous results. Thus, a lot of brides have taken their guests with them to Las Vegas – a city that prides itself on wedding convenience. Planning on exchanging vows in the world’s wedding capital? Here are a few things you’ll need to consider when making arrangements for your Vegas wedding:
Get in touch with a wedding coordinator
Before making any commitments, it’s an absolute must that you hire a wedding planner at least a month prior to the big day. Some people believe that they can handle everything on their own, but the truth is that there’s going to be so much going on during your wedding weekend. Jodi Harris from Sight & Sound Events says that a wedding planner can keep you on schedule, keep everything organised so that you can remain stress-free throughout the entire weekend.
Consider getting married at a hotel/casino chapel
Almost every hotel and casino resort in the city has its own chapel, so why not take advantage and book services there? That way, accommodation for your guests could be sorted out as well.
On this weeks blog post I have planned to speak to all you lovely brides about 1950’s Vintage Makeup.
I did this Photoshoot with Elena back last summer and it was a shoot that has a very classic feel. It was held at the beautiful Shottle Hall Venue on a gorgeous summers day.
For this shoot we aimed at doing a 1950’s look which complimented the dress from ‘Baroque Couture’. From the soft round neckline to the lace arms, it fitted in perfect with the 1950s theme.
