What is an engagement photo shoot?
First of all, this is an hour of fun with your loved one. An engagement photo shoot is a styled photo shoot of a couple, usually in an outdoor settings of a park, a gardens or grounds of a hall or your wedding venue. You decide your style, theme, location and any props you would like to have with you. Basically this is about the two of you.
Derby and Derbyshire have got pleanty of beautiful parks, halls gardens and places of natural beauty, and this is where we like shooting engagement shoots. Your ideas and suggestions are welcome too – you might choose a very special location for the two of you.
Why do I need an engagement photo shoot?
Besides fun and beautiful photographs, an engagement shoot offers a perfect time for you, as a couple, to get comfortable in front of the camera. It’s a great chance to familiarise yourself with the gentle direction that we give in order to achieve natural and artistic pictures before the wedding day. We would love to get to know you and what style of photographs you like too! With us behind the lens you can relax, as you are in safe hands 🙂

An engagement photo shoot can be booked as part of your wedding package or as a standalone photo shoot. Please contact us about availability.
How much does it cost?

Engagement film
The engagement photo shoot is excellent opportunity to shoot a short video about you. An engagement film is to show your smiles, look, laugh and other emotions which can’t sometimes be captured by still photographs. More info about wedding film is at our wedding videography page.
